I'm quite romantic

...during my introspective moods
Shock absorber, yep. A backer, wingman, trooper. That is me. Welcome to my world.

I pride myself on being a friend’s rock. I’m the kind of friend you would like to have on your rainy days. I like to think the closest people in my life; past and present remember me more with my silence, my two cents worth and resilience than the laughter and just-good times.

I just hope to find somebody, MY own rallyist…for a change.

Excluding the Mr. Yason, of course.

***HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY PRETTIEST (these days at least, weather-weather lang iyan...) and SEXIEST (well...hands-down!) SISTER, TIFFANY!!!
I miss you and the whole family!

***Yes, in case you are not aware, I'm the only one left here. ALL of them, as in ABSOLUTELY all of them are in Downers' Grove. Good thing I have my husband here or else I have gone nuts in the head a long time ago!

artsy-fartsy...

Chilling Out

We missed Calumpit. Our grandparents' house looks better than ever. I love this place. Nanay does a great job tending on her own. It looks brighter than ever. Somehow, that gives me comfort thinking my lolo is at peace...

DINNER ALONE

We live for this. Bagoong rice is so good.

fog off

The past few weeks, I felt like I was somehow in a fog, not totally an unpleasant one albeit an unclear one, but then of course, its a fog after all. Redundant. Although, it works when your talking about something vague.

I took some time off. It’s one of the best things to do when you are really burnt out both emotionally and physically. Just close your eyes for a while, let the fog pass, lest it stings your eyes...

I’m happy to say I’m back running around in my world again.

I realized after all that has happened…I love my life. =)

My shot of sunshine

Another wedding in the family!

CONGRATULATIONS to Andy and Ate Kissy! Such a cute couple. ;)

I'm back!

After 9 years, we were able to attend again the La Naval Annual Celebration. I had so much to pray for, and most specially to thank for. =)

I haven’t been perceptible for the past few days. I just felt we had to regroup and reorder our lives and our mess to a more tolerable jumble.

I’m sorry to all those who have been texting and checking out on us, we are fine thank you. It’s just that Pao and I react so differently during crisis, one of those differences in a marriage that you just find out along the way. I unintentionally don’t talk to people except my family, unless everything’s more stable already whereas he would downplay everything so as not to worry his family. He just turns himself on an automatic mode and fixes everything else. I just hear him talking to somebody to take care of something that I may or may never know. God knows I need a husband like that.

Let us pray more for those who require more of our help and prayers. As for us, we have great families, good friends and each other… Everything we need.
