Other things may change us but we start and end with family.

I guess the best thing about having a family is you are secured to know there are people who will love you and who you will love for the rest of your life.

Family is Forever.

Thanks, Therese!

You are such a good friend.
I got teary-eyed reading your letter and opening your gifts.

Those are the nicest gifts for me and Hunter but what really touches me is the fact that you remember to make us feel so special and loved in spite of your very busy schedule these days. You just got married and instead of making it all about you, you had to do this and made me feel so grateful to be your friend. I love you sweets!

After a year...

I finally had my hair done. It's a first time since I gave birth.

We went to our Favorite Rocco and Rocco at Downtown.

With the family's stylist, our favorite girl Nichole. She's the Family's stylist because she styles all of our hair! From my Aunt to my mom, to my sisters and even my bros-in-law! =)

Excited! Halfway foiled...

Wondering if I should have gone lighter. Hmmmm.

Loving my new hair!

Blog Binge

Three posts in a day. I know.

We will be leaving soon and right now, all our things are just everywhere. It will be a while again before I come back here so I guess I went a bit overboard with stocking up on my favorites that I only get to buy here. I think I have make-ups right now to last me a lifetime. I just had to get back-ups of everything because prices are totally jacked up back in Manila. =|
I just need this last one.

Tarina Tarantino Dollskin Cheek Palette

I am seriously going to miss Babies R' Us and Buy Buy Baby. =( I hope I'll be able to find these "jean diapers" back in Manila. I bought a big box for Hunter since I know it'll be too hot and he will be only wearing these and sandos or onesies.

Cutie Pie.

I just love having a baby boy!

My Family

We started this tradition of taking a family portrait every year while I'm visiting just to see how we are growing as a family.

This time, with our littlest addition. =)

Bagelyas

Before I get concerned comments regarding the frivolity of my blog posts especially with the current economic situation, I would just like to make something clear.
Although I do post light, random everyday things in my blog, these things only show a fraction of what my life is all about.
We all have different quirks, hobbies, collection and one of my interests happens to be about purses. Just because we buy these things (which we work hard for) doesn't mean we are unconcerned about and doing nothing about the plight of others.
My point is you can be both fabulous and benevolent at the same time. ;)

Anyway.

One night while I was spending time with my sister, we get around talking about bags. She's the original bag girl in our family and I know that she has a substantial collection but never got around seeing it.
I love purses too and though I have a very modest collection compared to hers, as a fellow bag lover, I know the feeling of getting a bag not solely for using but the joy of acquiring and owning it.

She finally agreed showing me just a part of her collection and I am blown away.

I just love her Chanel collection! It's not over-the-top but she got all the basics covered. I just love how substantial her collection is.

*Sigh, how inspiring. =)

Happy Mothers' Day!

The art of mothering is to teach the art of living. I learned from the best! I love you mama!

What I want for my birthday...

I have been thinking about this for a little while now, a Rebecca Minkoff. =) Gold or Silver HW?
After all the diaper bags and mommy bags, I need an Isabel bag.

I want one! =)

Anyway, I am so thankful for all the blessings and I'm just so excited for my 28th year and my first birthday as a mama.

I already got the best gift.

Hello, blog. I'm still here.

I know I haven't been posting a lot since I got here. That's because when I created this blogspot, everything was written about my everyday humdrums for the sole purpose of updating my whole family and best friends who are all here in the States. But since I'm here and I get to be with them everyday, I can't think of anything to write anymore though I've been busier than ever. As in. Busy having fun with family and doing orders all by myself.
I never wanted to have a girly blog or a beauty/fashion blog or whatever. I just thought of writing things I know and things I love and whatever comes to mind. Random things and whatever floats my boat. =)

So, anyway.

I have so much to work on, all my to-do's are up to my eyeballs.
Although I promised myself I'll be immersing in work and home renovations, I won't have time to be sad and miss my family when I go back to the Philippines, I think I never really went on a vacay mode anyway. I just hope to finish everything.
Those who think I'm on a vacation right now are totally wrong. On top of that, we are accumulating too much stuff, I'm still mulling over the fact that I have to haul these all off to the Philippines.

*Sigh. I don't feel like going home. Truth be told, I'm not really going home. I'm just going back, because this is home. Home is where my family is.

On a happier note, Hunter is getting so much bigger. He is now cooing and smiling and just busy being the best baby in the world.

I'm not getting a lot of sleep, can you tell? Hello dark eyebags.=)
